CLASS RECAP: Today students started their Ecology unit.
Students then wrote their new vocab terms down for Chapter 3 of the Ecology Unit. Students will complete a vocab exercise of their choice on these terms.
Students then took notes on the biosphere and some common terms we use to refer to the transfer of energy through an ecosystem.
Students completed a food web and identified which type of organisms each level was composed of.
Students learned about Ecological pyramids and took notes on the three different types of pyramids; energy, biomass and number. Students will practice with an energy pyramid when they complete 1-12 on their homework for tonight.
